St Ives Business Fair, Guildhall, St Ives from 10.00am to 4.00pm
The Chamber continue actions to help local businesses develop profitability by setting out plans to hold a Business to Business Fair later in the year on Tuesday 5th November. This will take place at The Guildhall from 10.00am to 4.00pm. It will include up to 30 suppliers of products and services that local businesses will find helpful. There are a number of important seminars currently being lined up to ensure local traders are fully aware of a number of changes to business legislation.
The Fair is aimed at providing local businesses with an opportunity to meet with a host of business service providers to help discover ways in which they can promote and improve their organisation, reduce running costs, improve sales and develop profitability. Entrance to the Fair will be free of charge and extended to all businesses in the town.
Chairman Andrew Mounsey said “We’ve been looking at this for some time and we believe that now is the right time to start to highlight other ways The Chamber can further develop services and help to businesses in town”.
The St Ives Business Fair will be held at the Guildhall, St Ives between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
Further details and pre-registration for the event can be found at www.stiveschamberfair.eventbrite.com
Local business owner and Chamber Member Representative Neil Whittam added “Feedback from our continuous dialogue with businesses in the town tells us that actions to help develop sales and profits are more important now than ever before. Trade will continue to be difficult in the years ahead and we all need to look closely at options to protect and develop profitability. If you are a business service provider and are interested in being an exhibitor on the day and would like to discuss this opportunity further, please contact us. We are looking directly at services that the town’s businesses needs. We are very keen to include relevant businesses in town as part of the exhibition”: St Ives Business Fair.
